From Cancun Airport, Playa Del Carmen, or Tulum Intl:

Only one highway (307) takes you south/north towards Tulum – Chetumal. One road follows the signposts until Tulum ( the highway goes basically through the town). It is approximately a 2 hours drive from Cancun Airport and 40 minutes from Tulum airport.

From north, after passing the Tulum archaeological ruins, you will come to a traffic light/intersection. On your right, you will see a green sign that says Coba and a grocery store called Super Aki Tulum. Do NOT turn right, but take a left toward the Tulum Hotel zone and Boca Paila Road (Punta Allen).

Drive straight down this road, past the Chedraui Store, until the road veers into a Y shape. Take the road to the right and drive along the road until you see, on your left-hand side, a series of small hotels.
