Tulum is located in the southern Mexican state of Quintana Roo, amidst the tropical jungle and the Caribbean Sea. This location has the virtue of not only being romantic, but also very rich in culture, adventure, relaxation and fun.

Here are some aspects as to why you will have a dream vacation in Tulum, while celebrating your Honeymoon.

Adventure: If you and your couple are into sports, in Tulum you will find many options; snorkeling and diving in the ocean or in a cenote (fresh water sinkhole), floating down a natural lazy river or climbing a 5 story observation tower in the heart of the jungle in the Biosphere Reserve of Sian Ka’an, go biking along the hotel zone, rappel and zip lining within a Mayan community in the jungle, kayaking, fly fishing and much more.

Archaeology: Tulum has a lot to offer if you are into Mayan history and culture. The closest and most breathtaking archeological site is the one simply called “Tulum” the only one built on a cliff and facing the Caribbean Sea. Muyil is found on the edge of a lagoon at the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve and Cobá is located inland, immersed in the tropical jungle with a 137 feet tall pyramid.
